AT&T vs. Comcast - Internet Service

Curious if anyone has had experiences with both AT&T & Comcast for internet service and if so, who's your preferred vendor?

I've had both and Comcast for value and speed was an easy winner.

Just got gigapower fiber from at&t. Rock solid stability so far.

Switched from Comcast to AT&T. Switched back to Comcast (Xfinity). AT&T was pathetically bad.

Comcast is better by far. As a new member, you can talk them into a nice beginners rate.

Thanks for response. Have Comcast... heard offer for AT&T at about half cost and was curious about whether it was worth it or not to switch.

I actually have both at my house right now. Can flip between either, whichever is performing better.
Comcast internet (cable) blows AT&T (ADSL basically) away
ETA: If you can get gigapower, that's a different story. Same if you have FIOS in your area.

As others have said, ATT dsl sucks. The customer service isn't much better either. I've been having issues with mine for about 3 months now and they cant seem to fix it. The admit the issue is on their end, but it never gets better. I'm about to jump to something else
