When I was a kid, my dad paid 2 grand to keep my dog alive for a day. The vet told him it would probably give him a year. Of course, the next day, there were more complications. My dad says he doesn't regret it to this day.

Anything over $1.

I just hate them. I don't know why. If I see a cat while I'm driving I try to run over it. I just hate cats. To me they are just another rodent
The fact that you would do that to a cat at all, not to mention that you might be killing someone's pet tells a lot about you. I'm glad I don't know you, but I see someone try to intentionally run over an animal, I'll get the license plate and turn their arse in. I hope to hell someone does that to you.

Vets know people have an almost irrational affection for their pets and will readily bend them over a barrel for unnecessary products and services.
ive seen this claim countless times. The guys that make this claim are usually the ones that show up at 2am with a very sick pet and want the latest and greatest medical treatment for $20. Sorry but good medicine costs money. There isn't some special discount vet factory that pumps out medical equipment and supplies with human medicine quality but a fraction of the cost

People should quit trying to humanize their pets. It's to the point now where people treat their animals better than their kids or parents.

I'll kill your pet for $20 but it'll cost extra to dispose of the remains.

How old is the dog?

"Price point" must be the new sophisticated way of saying "cost"

Our dog needed chemo and a leg amputation at 11 years old. We would not have done it, but my aunt (she has the dog now) was dead set on getting it all done. Dog goes through a leg amputation and 3 months of chemo. She had to be put down 5 months after that. I don't understand putting an animal through major surgery followed by chemo (even though the vet swore up and down chemo isn't the same for dogs and humans) at any point, let alone she was 11 years old and feeble.

How old is your dog and how has his health been up to this point?

Tough decision all the way around man. Even though they are just animals, we become so emotional attached and invested into them as they are with us. Sorry man.

My dads boss spent 10k on stem cell treatment for there dog. It went well but they ended up putting the dog down 8 months later. I personally think that is way to much money.

Your dad's boss is a fricking idiot that has more money than sense.

Depends on the price of a 22 bullet.

Yeah I know. This doesn't make any sense to me but the dog was like a daughter to him and his wife. He said he would have spent another 10k to have one more month with her.
