The parent would have to strangle or punch the child in the face for me to notify authorities. The kids have become such little shits. they need their asses spanked once in a while

I'd say when the little schitt is about 18 it's time to call the cops...to have them served with a restraining order stating they have stay farther than 100' away from the parent.

I, too, set foot inside a wal mart today. Just a harrowing experience.

S, dreadful! I once sent Humberto there to pick up some gardening supplies for my staff. The things he saw! Never again.

Needed maple syrup during church hours. You already know where the staff was. Mrs. S’s blueberry banana pancakes were extraordinary!

Proverbs 13 24 NKJV
He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly.

Proverbs 22 15 NKJV
Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of correction will drive it far from him.

More than a spanking and less than a gunshot wound.

It's kind of like porn. You cant really define it but you know it when you see it. Or whatever that politician said years ago

Not sure if an upvote or downvote is needed. But you right these kids are a mess today. They need some trips behind the gas station for a whipping, not strangling etc.

I swatted my son with a belt at tractor supply when he was 3 or 4.. he kept grabbing crap and running from me..

Some older guy says that's a little excessive isn't it?

I said if you'll stand there until I'm done with him I'll whip your arse too..
He hauled arse..

You let kids get away with shite when they are young and they will be a terror when they are teens .

If its blatant child abuse like punching a kid in the head for no reason etc.. I'd step in but not for correcting them

Who are you to judge? No reason? That little fricker might’ve done some heinous shite last week. Rip him a new a-hole. Might make him think about what he’s soloing before he does it

Yeah I'm sure he got away with something so he probably deserves it..

Seriously though I lived down the road from some kids that were abused when I was little.. we would see them in the yard and the dad would just haul off and slap the shite out of them. He was always hitting them in the back of the head. They never had clean clothes etc.. really sad to see that hollow blank stare from small abused child.

He ended up getting arrested for putting the mom in the hospital and she left with the kids the next day.

IMO, the best parents are their children’s bosses until they become 18. Then they can be their friends. A good boss administers appropriate discipline. Spanking unruly kids is appropriate. Beating them isn’t.
