That’s the only thing that can effect the value. Another crypto. The feds are mad.

I tend to believe this as well. If/when cryptos become mainstream and widely accepted, I don't for a second believe that it'll be Bitcoin on top simply due to its technical limitations and the laws of physics. Proof-of-work and the escalating power requirements due to the hash rate arms race doom it, at least in my mind.

That is what is so fascinating about this. No one knows how to project what will happen. This is new to everyone. I thought it was dead at $5000

There is no one influencing the outcome. It might not ever pop. It needs a competitor to devalue it.
This is a silly statement. The primary thing increasing the value is other people buying. There are plenty of extremely large holders that could sell and tank the currency. Competitors certainly can affect the value, but to pretend that is the only threat to the value of something with no intrinsic value is silly.

I am speaking on a macro level. Can there be short drops in value? Sure. But this won’t drop below 5000 again. Bitcoin is too valuable to the black and digital market.

thats FUD

most BTC is held by a small % at the top (link below) that 55% of people own .001 BTC or less.

in fact 97% of people have less than 1 BTC.

these are most likely people who have ridden an emotional wave from back near 2011. we have negative news daily in the media, why all of a sudden do you think they would sell?

You can think it's dumb, you can't think it has no real use or value, but that doesn't change the fact it's making a lot of people money.

To be clear, it's not making you money until you sell it, just as you haven't lost money until you sell it. It's all on paper right now.

just watch and someday this site will have crypto functions

imagine being able to tip people who offer quality threads or answer questions? like an upvote but with a bit of cash in it. this forum could turn into a real market with ideas online.
