Not surprising considering the fact this generation was the first to grow up in a society where everywhere they turned they were immersed in pro-homosexual propaganda.

Either (a) the percentage in past generations were similar but social stigma resulted in under reporting or the more likely (b) identifying as LGBTQ is social currency in today's world and everyone wants to feel celebrated and placed on a pedestal, especially for something that requires nothing more than simply labeling yourself.

Yes - I can’t believe how many of my friends’ children are gay
But a lot of my friends are either gay or bisexual - which didn’t happen til after their divorces

Kids are brainwashed by the media and social media to think it’s normal. They get special praise if they “identify” as some neo-pronoun nonsense.
It’s all carrots and no sticks and if anyone points out the emperor has no clothes they get ostracized and attacked by the left and the alphabet brigade.

But to many young people its "trendy" "hip" and "cool" to be LGBTJKDSJFIWEJFIWJF.
Often its a cry for attention. Being a victim can be currency in certain social circles and situations.
When these young people hear non stop from their teachers, professors, media, and politicians about how evil rich straight white christian men are, is it any surprise that these younger people make life choices to distance themselves from those traits?

My 13 year old’s friends all seem to identify as some sort of variant on the sexuality spectrum. I’m fine with people liking what they like, but it feels like a peer pressure thing to fit in by being “unique.”
