Hurricanes or named storms are different than a flash wind/hail storm. Check it out but I imagine the 1k deductible doesn't apply for hurricanes etc.

Had ASI via Geico for home insurance to enjoy savings. Never filed a claim.

Geico in BR recently contacted me to inform that they no longer were offering ASI and had switched me over to HomeSite insurance. I know nothing of HomeSite other than the rates were generally similar to ASI. I need to do some due diligence on HomeSite asap.

The 1K deductible is all perils...including named storms.

it does. asi offers flat deductibles.

Only claim I've had in 8 years with ASI was hail damage to roof. $1,000 deductible covered a new roof. Process was easy.
