Ascension Parish teachers are committing fraud.

If your kids teacher is claiming Covid quarantine, check their Facebook page and you’ll be shocked to learn they are taking a vacation. My kids teacher was at Karate practice tonight with her kid who allegedly has Covid. I learned tonight that they don’t have to submit any paperwork to the school to substantiate their Covid leave.

If I didn’t have to fill out any paperwork I’d take a free vacation too. your problem isn’t with the teachers, it’s with the school board letting them do it

Terrible way to look at the situation.

As far as the Dominate comments, in Iraq and Afghanistan, when a building was cleared we yelled Dominate. So that’s the source.

Teachers aren’t the ones making that decision. Your ire is with the school board, the Governor’s office and the CDC.

I doubt they claimed they had COVID. Their work is probably making them stay away because they were a “close contact.” That’s how it is on 99% of cases. Did you ask her if she was tested? I know a teacher who tested negative IN ASCENSION PARISH and they still made her stay home for two weeks. Why not continue living a normal life if you’ve tested negative?

For my work we have 21 days from positive test. The state is saying 10 days from last symptom.
If they have so symptoms they legally have 11 days to do whatever they want.
