hair must be kept. I mean...it is OUR body, right? Who has the legal authority to tell me i can't grow a beard? Certainly not my Winne Dixie manager.

But for real.... I've had several friends back out on No shave November because their bosses stepped in the way.... is this still a thing at companies..i mean i thought for sure we were shifting into a more liberal era....where are all the perks for the men in this liberal society.... we don't get to control our own body?

start your own business then and do what you want.
Until then, quit bitching about the people that pay you.

Hipsters just don't get it. Your Winn Dixie manager DOES have the right if its a company policy. Don't like? Go work somewhere else.

apparently you don't get it...companies don't have the right to tell me what to do with my body as a man... women and wannabe women are afforded this right... how is my beard any more distracting than a man who come in dressed as a woman?

you idiot...the point is only YOU should be able to control what you choose to do with your natural bodily functions..and men shouldn't be discriminated against because they choose to have facial hair.... we just let these people walk all over us as men..when will we stand up for our own cause?

I get 'it' quite well grasshopper. YOU are the one that doesn't get 'it'. AS I stated so eloquently in my previous post, if it is a company policy, then they CAN tell you what to do with you 'body hair'. Again, if you don't like it, go work somewhere else.

I wouldn't know...i'm not one. But what other 'group' would be on a message board crying that he can't have a beard at work.

Its pathetic know that I think about it....

Do you own the company? No? Then leave if you don't like it.
