I consider them doctors. I am a vet so i expect the same courtesy. I know you guys have to study more than just basic tooth care.
During katrina i was in vet school. when the dental school flooded we shared our anatomy lab with the dental students. It was fun for us to exchange looks at our respective cadavers.
I have less respect for MD's. Dime a dozen and most are hacks.
