I met him in 89 and wasn't raped, my self esteem has been crushed these last few days

I saw this the other day, if true it is sickening. How can anyone partake in something like that is beyond me.

Those dudes at Phi Psi were always huge cheesedicks. They would take pledge classes of 50 kids, when every other frat would take 15 at most. Not surprising that a Patrick Bateman or two slipped in. I don't know how they would have pledges during the first week of school in the fall, because rush is in the spring there, and if they would take a fall pledge class it would be at least a month into the semester. I just wish that chick would have gone to the hospital after being violently gang raped and beaten up and the dudes could have gotten arrested. I talked with the counselor in the article when i was on academic probation before, feel really bad for her getting dragged through the mud.

As someone who went to law school Virginia and who's wife is a UVA alum, I love the place. That said, there's no fricking way if I had a daughter I would let her go there for undergrad.

That's what I thought while reading it, why did she not go to hospital at least immediately after. No offense to you but a lot of fhe dudes gave off the rapey vibe there but I domt 100% buy she would have been a pariah if she had

You're trying to reconcile the thoughts or instincts of a rational, stable person with those of the victim of a brutal sexual assault. Rape victim psychology isn't that simple.

That doesn't excuse him. If I'm not mistaken, he did penetrate her with a bottle or something like that. Even if he didn't though, he watched as 6-7 other guys brutally raped a girl HE HAD CLASS WITH without stopping them.

What's stunning is that she called three friends to pick her up after she got raped, and supposedly all three advised her to not go to the hospital so they would not be ostracized socially. Crazy.

That made me sick to my stomach. Some friends. I actually stopped reading and closed the article right there. Trying to go to bed on a vaguely happy note.
