There are treats that offer joint relief, also ChondroCare is a liquid supplement.

This may sound odd but try to find 'Stinging Nettle'. It is a type of weed that is ground up into a green powder. Me and the wife found out about this when we were in Italy last week and the house we were at had a very old dog that had been crippled with arthritis and the owner started giving this with her food and that little dog was running around everywhere when we were there all afternoon.

I'm telling y'all that the laser treatments work. Big difference in my dog.

We have a 15 YO Golden Retriever and this is what we do as well. It has done wonders for him.

I also recommend the Cosequin. If you can have him exercise in the water to take some pressure of the joints that will likely help as well. I have an 11 year old lab who still hunts fairly hard and that takes these supplements. He was much less mobile before starting the supplements about 2 years ago.

We have a 14.5 yr old Katrina rescue mutt (with rottie colorings). About a year ago the vet noticed she was having a little stiffness in her back legs. About a 3 weeks ago we noticed her being far more ginger in sitting or lying down so I started her on some Cosequin chews I found at Target. We're still doing 2x per day (4-6 weeks then once per day for maintenance) and have noticed a decent bit of improvement.

My vet told us every lab, and really every medium to large dog, should be on glucosamine and fish oil from the time they start eating solid food.

We give our 13 year old beagle "Doggie Dailies", a chewable glucosamine/chondroitin treat. Difference in mobility is absolutely noticeable! Available at Amazon.

Considering the large dogs I've had over the years and their higher preponderance for hip and joint issues, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing that.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin daily supplements.
Also, exercise your dog more to keep him looser and have him lose weight.

Rimadyl has worked amazing for my 12 yr old great Dane.

Had an 18 year old lab that was on science diet and later blue buffalo for mature dogs. You can find a variety of
Foods like science diet and blue buffalo that have specific mature blends with supplements. I also gave her cosequin (sp?) supplements.
She eventually had a inoperable tumor:(

Ask your vet for galliprant. It’ll will work wonders.
Posted on 3/3/20 at 6:52 pm to Duffnshank
Galliprant worked really well for our lab's arthritis. I could tell it helped with her pain. We had to put her down last year at 15 years of age because of cancer but I feel the galliprant made her last couple of years less painful before the cancer diagnosis.

"Billion Pets" organic cbd hemp oil from Amazon. Half an eyedropper a day on a dog biscuit will turn him into a younger dog. 5000 mg bottle is cheap and will last a long time. Don't listen to the dog if he starts asking for THC.

Tell me more about the laser treatment.

Galliprant works really good, but man that shite is expensive.
