I don't remember actually. This wasn't some watershed moment for me like 911 or the Challenger explosion. Not to sound insensitive but I was in college at the time and didn't really know much about Diana beforehand.

I was in Perdido.

Didn’t find out about it until the next day.

It didn’t/doesn’t/won’t ever change my life.

I was watching football with my family on a Saturday night and this crap interrupted my game.

I'd imagine the OT thread in '97 would have been epic had it been around.

Agreed. A vapid blonde of moderate attractiveness and intellect was not a cataclysmic loss to society.

I was in middle school and just got back from the Kittitas County Fair. Didn't have much of a reaction from what I remember.

I was in USMC boot camp in San Diego.
Read about it in the Sunday paper I believe. Had no effect on my 19 year old life. Felt sorry for her kids but that was it.

No, LSU doesn’t play Auburn in August.

Actually, I was watching Peyton Manning torch UNLV or some team like that on ESPN. Pretty sure it was UNLV in week 1.

It was sad as any other young mother dying and leaving children behind. Sure didn't justify the entire world being notified of every detail that happened until her funeral though.

I remember people eating that shite up though. Just like the marriages of her sons and them having babies. People love to waste time learning about other people's lives.

Kinda scary when you think how many of us could easily go back to a royal family and be content with worshiping a select few.

I was sitting in my house and watched the news break. While tragic, completely avoidable incident.

Just to confirm, you are aware that Saturday night in Paris occurs 6-9 hours before it does in the lower 48 USA, right?
