Wow that's crazy, I go there all the time. Not really surprising though given the dregs of society that hang around the store.

Saw an employee and a crazy homeless woman almost get into a fight the other night.

I shop there on a regular basis because I'm scared to go the Wal Mart on Burbank. LOLOLOL

I'm really hating this town more and more.

Walter at the liquor department register knows me by name and punches in my DOB when I come in.

Is that bad? He's an ornery fricker too.

Pretty sure I saw that woman. But maybe before an employee approached her.

I just thought Mag Woods had more crime if you want to call it that

You are thinking of the housing projects across Dawsons Creek off of Staring behind that derelict shopping center where Dominos and Baskin Robbins are. Really rough patch there and yes that probably is where the crime is coming from.

What are you trying to imply?

That type of bank is likely to not have the best of employees. It's lower volume due to a lack of drive through, probably used for training with very little management on hand.

Which means the employees are unlikely to follow the rules to the T concerning money being locked in the back rather than just at the teller.

If his goal was to run in and grab 30-50k without an armed guard present, then a grocery store branch isn't a bad call.

Need to know if this was an actual armed robbery or the infamous "I have a gun" note passing type of robbery before I get too excited. The media continues to hype shite, like the election, in their never ending attempt to generate clicks. I want details.

Details from the paper:

BRPD spokesman Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said the man entered the grocery store, located in the 7500 block of Perkins Road, around 12:20 p.m. Thursday, walked up to the teller working at the Chase Bank inside the store and demanded money.

McKneely said it doesn't appear the man was armed with a weapon.

I can hear this guys defense lawyer - "He just asked if he could have some money and she gladly gave it to him. He is a professional beggar. How is this different than the guy at a stop light?"

Almost no bank robberies get this kind of dough. Most are less than $5. Now armored car robbery is a different story.

Run that pic during the Saints game tonight and tell folks to check the people in the room/bar with them. If you see this guy and rat him out, there is a nice cash reward.

You know he's going to be watching the game somewhere, and probably not alone.
