Most of the Buffalo is great. Bull Shoals lake is mostly good too. Both are north central. In the north west, devils den and Hobbs are both pretty awesome especially if you like trails.

Albert Pike is nice. Steele Creek and Lost Valley too. Better check on availability.

Some beautiful camping spots on this little outcropping of land.

Petit Jean, like mentioned.

Also check out the Forest Service site for some great spots. I enjoy the setting and location of Haw Creek Falls campground.

What's the name of the Arkansas campground where about 10 people drowned in a flash flood a few years ago?

Not sure how it is but I have been curious about the Diamond park or whatever it is called. Run up there and give me a report if my 44' Toyhauler will fit.

It’ll fit but be forewarned....if you take kids, they will get bored. At least for mine, digging around in the dirt and mud in the heat to not find squat was not in my kids wheelhouse. The camp ground was nice though. LOTS of ticks.

Albert Pike campground, pretty sure it was shut down permanently after that tragedy. It killed 20 people.

Is there nothing else to do here? The pics of the campground look beautiful.

The lodge at Petit Jean has a pretty good restaurant with a great view.

Mt. Magazine has very good restaurant, excellent view and excellent local craft beer.
