I think when the Saints played in Tiger Stadium following Katrina, the attendance was mediocre. Despite the circumstances at that time, I remember it should've been much better.

That’s because Nola doesn’t need a minor league team. There’s always something better going on. If it was done right, I could see a baseball team doing well in BR. Have $1 beer night or something and they’d flock there.

Baton Rouge had an Arena football team years ago called the Baton Rouge Blaze. I think there was a Lafayette team as well.
New Orleans had the Voodoo for a few years, which was in the Arena Football League, but I think the AFL only has 4 or 5 teams in it now.. So I do think people, anywhere, is really getting on board with AFL.
