If there was an arena FB team in Baton Rouge that played games in the River Center, would the community get on board? I feel like it would be pretty cool. Not sure how the league works and what size cities get a team but that would be cool.

Man, folks have been trying to get minor league football and hockey leagues to work for decades and none have really panned out.

Baton Rouge only cares about two things. Crappy beer and LSU.

There was a team called the Bayou Beast that I think played in the PMAC.

I liked arena football. Houma of all places had a team, and while I didn't really follow it, the games were a good time.

Minor league sports never work in BR for whatever reason. It's all LSU

I’d be happy with an NFL team or NBA team, but I don’t want some crap minor league team that plays with different rules and only attracts trashy people

I think a minor league baseball team would be good. Like a triple A team similar to what they have in Jackson.

I think when the Saints played in Tiger Stadium following Katrina, the attendance was mediocre. Despite the circumstances at that time, I remember it should've been much better.
