At my previous job we had a few people get DUIs while I was there. One girl was leaving the company Christmas party. A few others were managers etc. Nothing ever became of it.

Wouldn't a new employer be more likely to find out about it while doing a background check then your current employer who wouldn't have a reason to check for awhile (or ever if you don't drive for them)?

Tell your boss but then immediately tell him you're gay. He can't fire you at that point.
After that, tell him you're "checking into rehab". Free 60 day vacation.

My company requires that I self report any moving violation to them. The rule is mainly in place for the guys who are required to have their CDL, though.

Don't lie and don't go out of your way to keep it a secret, whether you disclose is really up to you. But keep in mind between court dates, community service, the newspaper, etc... there's a really good chance it's going to leak.
If you don't drive for work and are not in a high profile position odds are you'll make it through fine. Where you screwed yourself is applying for new jobs where for the next 5-10 years you might not be worth the risk.
