I’m sure I would never do anything like this or barter either.

A friend stashed a few firearms at his friend’s home bc his wife complains about it when he’s purchased. I laugh.

a musician friend orders stuff, and has it delivered to his bandmate's office. bandmate brings it to load-in, at load-out, it goes into real owners' van, and does home with all his other gear.

My wife DGAF about what I buy as long as the bills are paid and her card works.
No need to hide anything.

quote:frick all that. I'm not made of money. Our rule is anything over 200 bucks.
I told her if it’s over 5k we’ll need to talk, under I don’t care. Since I manage the accounts I don’t have to ask about what I buy.
The only thing I'm 'stealthish' about is guns. Not so much the guns themselves, she knows about every one I buy, but the shite that goes along with it: optics, now I have a new rifle, now I need a sling. Well shite, now I need sling mounts. A sweet arse folding stock. Magazines, holsters, ammo.
She knows about those things but she has no idea how much all that crap costs.
