Many of us that grew up in BR and left bash BR as like a survivor's club of sorts. My friends/family that still live there don't understand it of course, but I can catch up with friends/family that are from BR and also moved away....and we can all agree in seconds how much we just didn't like living there.

And on Thursday I was at dinner with a client in Atlanta who is from BR. He's in the process of opening up a regional office of his company's in BR so he can move back because he hates Atlanta.

hen are the people like you all going to unite prior to leaving and at least attempt to make this place the fun haven you all wanted?

Why make that kind of effort when you can just move instead and find a place that better suits your lifestyle??

I appreciate your comments and tone about the subject. I can relate. I would never move back to my home town and I feel like I can talk about it badly similar to how one can talk about their mom.

Ok. And?

Different strokes you know?

Why is it so hard to just accept that some people didn't like living in BR, got out, and never want to live there again and will always think the city sucks compared to other places? That's gonna be the case for any city really. People are gonna have different likes/dislikes.

Some of y'all need to get out more and realize that BR is certainly far from perfect, but not the shithole the OT makes it out to be.

So basically St. George. Yep sounds right.

St.George FTW. Until the consolidated government goes, more incorporation is the only thing that will save ebrp.

Only 1.5 of those areas is St.George, genius. But I thought SG was just rich white people anyway?

I was the biggest Baton Rouge lover years ago, then I left and realized how awful of a place it really is.

Golfer -- I don't even bother to participate in the utter stupidity that is these BR threads .. It's the same posters posting the same uneducated, mindless drivel ..
