Are There Still Old School Bowling Alleys?

Nowadays they all seem like you’re in da club, still have to use the gross shoes but the lanes are slip proof to prevent sliding, pitch black with tons of flashing neon, Mr Worldwide blasting on the system, food still shitty but now overpriced.
Where do these cats bowl now?
Btw I tried duckpin bowling recently here in Atlanta. It’s popular among the urban hipsters. I enjoyed it. Retro extreme, like a homage to the 1920s, with a bar staffed by tie wearing mixologists crafting unique and creative cocktails accompanied by expensive but very good food. I had the green market beet salad with foie gras and a microbrew.

Stewart Army Airfield in Newburgh, NY has an alley built in the 50's.
Wish I could find some old pics.

Arkansas got a Dust Bowl Lounge and Lanes. It’s supposed have a 70s retro look. It’s the only one I would considered aloof school. The other alley in Little Rock is ghetto as can be.

There's several Brunswick Zones around Denver. Also a couple old school privately owned ones. Wheat Ridge Lanes is a sweet old school family owned smaller one with cheap AF drinks not too far west from us we like going to.
And they do classic car shows too which are cool to go to.

Yeah, nobody cares about the sport in those either. Half the people are basically using it as a baby sitter service.

There are a couple of old school alleys near me. One has a pretty good Chinese restaurant in it.
We had a very old school place a few blocks from me, it was more of a shite hole than the old Rock and Bowl in New Orleans.
I used to go to Mid City Lanes (what became the original Rock and Bowl) after half days at St Anthony when I was 5.
The place here had punk bands primarily, but did catch JD McPherson there, would have sex toy bingo, and people went there to bowl. It had the coolest bar from the 50s in it.
An investment group took it over and pumped a ton of money into it. Got ride of all but about 8 lanes, the rest of the space is concert space. A little too nice for my liking but they do get good bands.
I scored tickets in a raffle to the Grand opening night, Portugal the Man played and Springsteen did some songs with the Tangiers Blues Band before Portugal came on.

How can these be old school if you aren't keeping your own score?

No, I’ll have to try it. Thanks.
Duckpin bowling was at the Painted Duck on the Westside.

Midtown bowl is an old school one for the most part.
