I would see one guy at the tables just about every time I went which is about 5 or 6 times. I am pretty sure it wasn't coincidental.

eh

even here in LC there are a bunch of people who play 5+ times/week and in no way are pros

the Isle of Capri has a 4-8 game of old people and it's their social scene. they're there EVERY. DAMN. DAY

however, i don't see how the BR poker economy could sustain that many "pros". there just isn't enough money or big enough games. here the pros play 2-5 uncapped (plays like a 5-10) and 5-5-10 or 5-10-25 PLO. we also have a metric frick ton of tourist money coming in that really makes the economy run. BR doesn't have that

How did the check raise on the 8k bet turn out?

Split pot. It was on the flop. 2 K K came up. And myself and the other guy each had one. 2 on turn and 4 on river.

Full house.

I'll remember it for the rest of my life. Guy who had a 2 lost his arse

He got banned for awhile for stealing a tip back from a dealer he didn't like. Supposedly

That's not what happened. The dealer was an wet blanket a-hole. It was the dealer who stoke from him.
