I had Sister Dillia in 1st grade. She'd whoop your arse about 3 times if you so much as looked at her wrong. Tough old bird. I'm sure she's in nun heaven now.

Wonder where they all went. Most of mine were old, maybe they all died out?

There are some schools where nuns teach. Someone I know (an older person) went on a church bus trip a few months ago and they stopped at a convent in Tennessee and there was an all girl's school on side of it in which the nun's taught at.

My mom (who is in her 70s) went to Catholic school and was taught by nuns her whole life. She said some of them were beyond mean... They could be cruel. But I think the nuns stopped teaching there in the late 70s, early 80s.

Less and less people are becoming priest and nuns.

Yes, but no young ones. My daughter’s school had a nun principal until 2-3 years ago.

Besides all girl schools, probably none.

I started catholic school in 93’ and we had 2. And they were gone in a few years. Had none in HS.

Sister Anne beat my indolent arse on the reg at St. Theresa's in the late 70's.

She wielded a yardstick like a samurai sword.
