I heard over millions of years ago some rock hit the earth and killed like 90% of life. Yet here we still are.

I like making fun of stupid people just as much as the next guy, but, I mean, the human species existed how long without vaccines?

Do you realize how much change we've seen in the infant mortality rate, average life span, etc. since vaccines have become mainstream?

Humans died a lot earlier and lot more frequently before. Sure, the human race didn't go extinct, but you'd lose several members of your family to the measles and polio.

Joking aside it makes me angry to think of children of crazy anti vaxxers unnecessarily dying or getting seriously sick cause of their parent’s idiotic ideals. Parents that were VACCINATED as children and are protected from the diseases that could kill their child.

Yep. Which is why I’m pro vaccine. I was simply pointing out that “they’ll be dead before they can reproduce” is a stupid viewpoint.

How can an unvaccinated child infect a vaccinated child? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of vaccines? Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

In my mind, it is very close to being just cause for CPS to take the kids away.

If an unvaccinated kid gave my 7 month old measles and sent him into the hospital, I'd have to be restrained from going after their parents.

I believe in the value of vaccination. All my kids got their shots and I didn't think twice about it.

I do think we've passed the point of diminishing returns with that shite. To get into grad school, I had to get an MMR booster and a TDAP shot, and had to have bloodwork done to demonstrate immunity to the Chicken Pox.

None of this was quick or easy. No, I drove all over Atlanta like an idiot in an effort to demonstrate my immunity so that I could take a night class with other grown adults.

Not every disease needs a vaccine anyway. Influenza, Chicken Pox, Hepatitis LGBTQ, microscopic slut bumps... if it means driving to 3 different Marietta pharmacies in Braves traffic, I'll roll the effing dice.

Cmon now surely you knew that was a joke.

Exactly. It is amazing how people have been able to survive before we had Drs to sell us drugs.

The most basic and idiotic response to vaccinations.

I get what you meant now. It definitely sounded like you were downplaying the public health implications of not vaccinated our population.

My bad.

But of course. Dogs will give you unconditional love. Cats are just waiting for you to die so they can snack on your body.

We have flu outbreaks in the winter. Why? What does cold weather have to do with viruses?
Are people in Alaska perpetually sick? Tibet? Any typically cold weather region period? Yet we have flu outbreaks when? In the winter, right around the time they start handing out flu shots like candy on Halloween! You people are so gullible.

If you're serious, you are legitimately too stupid to respond to. So I won't.

The more ubiquitous amazing science and technology get the more people don't believe in science. 99% of the time people pontificating about false science could not explain the difference between mitosis and meiosis or covalent and ionic bonds.
