What's worse? Seersucker or madras?

Good question. They both run the risk of looking costumey. With seersucker, I feel like you can tone it down a little by going with a grey or tan (as opposed to the powder blue), so I'd have to say madras is worse overall.

Back in my day, gray seersucker was standard summer attire when going out. Only uppities wore Madras coats, the rest of us stuck with shirts.

Had son and me both fitted at Tuxedos to Geaux (formerly Porter Stevens in Lakeside) last week. Coming in on Friday.

Da fuq is a "modern day slavemaster?" Are they talking about business owners? I guess that would explain the high unemployment rates

It's only acceptable to wear a seersucker suit if you're over 70 years old or a toddler at Easter mass. If you don't meet those qualifications and still wear a seersucker suit, you are a cuck.

That's why I've always worn mine.

Oh, no...

I just bought a new seersucker suit from Brooks Brothers. It's being tailored now - should I just leave it there?

Yeah you done messed up now. The necks only accept camo, muscle shirts with jorts, or in the case of that special dinner date at Outback the dressy jeans and a short sleeve polo.

They'd have a fricking aneurysm at the Downs or at Keeneland in the Spring.

It's time is April and I'd argue the only month to wear seersucker suits.

Spring meet for Churchill Downs runs all the way from the first week of May to June. It'll be all seersucker then.
