Are Political Parties Like A Cult?

Seriously, I think people who are ultra-conservative and ultra-liberal are brainwashed to some degree. If you don't agree with them then they pretty much consider you to be the other side. They don't really listen to reason because what they believe, in their mind, is the only views that matter.
And then there are those who are even more extreme, they bring politics into everything... It just seems like the same mindset that people in cults have.

Obviously TD is chock full of cultists of trump or they would recognize witness tampering and obstruction of justice.
They will take the impeachment harder than most. They just wanted a white male isolationist demagogue. Pity.

They are e to some degree, sure.

Both parties tell their constituents what they want to hear. It's too bad a viable third party option will never be able to challenge the clusterfrick in DC.

And I would venture to say 90-95% of your downvotes are Trump groupies. Anything, and I mean anything, that can be remotely viewed as a slight to Heir Emperor will be met with fury.
On the other hand, we were camping Big Bend and one of our adult leaders (Boy Scouts) is a retired big city police Captain. Young earthy couple next to our site seemed really nice, but upon hearing his background immediately said, “so you’re a Nazi.” It was surreal and spooky. Total POSs.
