Last night my nephew had a little shindig and I got drunk AF. I was walking around and dancing, and his kids started putting beetles/junebugs on my shirt. They were giggling and laughing and all was good until I pulled one off of my shirt and chewed it up and ate it. They started screaming. I didn't understand why, so I continued until I had eaten about five. I'm still alive, but is there any insect that you shouldn't eat in case I'm in this position again?

General rule of thumb: bright colors on insects usually mean "stay away"

I ate a firefly once and it was extremely horrible. I've done a lot of survival training and eaten a lot of bugs most you will be fine. bees and wasps just eat the top half stink bugs are safe but I would stay away. Roasting them on a fire just makes them worse in my opinion.

I was looking for a singular species, therefore my subject verb agreement is fine.

Maggots are wonderful.

They're just eating what we missed on the first serving.

OP: You need to drink less around kids.
They think you are a _________.

Was hitting the whiskey hard one night in high school sitting in front of a window screen full of insects.

An ole boy said something about them, called me a pussy and I regretfully dined on a 6 piece junebug meal.

Les stroud taught me that if the bug doesn't move very fast that's because it's poisonous
