Yeah, all I want is a backup camera and Carplay.
Some of these fancy SUVs now look a sportsbook.

For people who just want reliable transportation cars from about 2010-2018 are the sweet spot. Plenty modern features but they’re not yet rolling computers.
I don't require a ton of creature comforts so I like them a little older personally, more like 2002ish-2012ish, although I do have a 99 GMC pickup (old body style).

The only new car I will ever buy again is a Tesla. Gonna need fully autonomous self driving when I get old.
When I walked out of the tesla dealership, a worker held open the door and asked if this was my first Tesla and then told me it wouldn't be my last after I stated that it was. I thought that was kind of a weird thing to say, but now I fully understand. While I expect at some point other cars will start catching up, there is nothing on the road like it at this point.

I was looking at a very clean 2003 Yukon Denali this morning. Asking price is within $7k of the value of my current 22 Expedition. I'd say that it held value pretty well.

I'm sure Toyota knows this but as Royal Auto Service explained in several videos, government and environmental regs are driving car manufacturers to do this crap.
