I always heard the 10 oz in Louisiana carries the same amount of alcohol as the 12 ounces everywhere else. Is that true?

The alcohol percentage is literally printed on the side of the can.
Its 4.2%
The same Bud Light sold everywhere in the United States outside of the only state left with a percentage requirement under that limit, Minnesota

I thought the 10oz and 8oz cans were to train your kids with.

When I first moved to Louisiana I saw the price was really cheap for Bud Light. After checking out I threw the first one in my coozie and it didn’t even touch the sides. That was the first time I had ever heard of 10 oz beer.
A couple of years later I went golfing with a guy who only drank 10oz beers because they stayed colder as he drank them,
I was also introduced to buying a tall boy before driving across the causeway as it was the perfect size for the drive across the bridge,

I truly did not realize such a product existed. Why in the absolute frick would you buy beer in smaller cans?
10oz beers are proof that God is good.
See a Cajun sometimes gets to talking, and he may forget to drink. A 10oz beer means two big gulps and you can move on.
We used to bring cases and cases of 10oz beers to florida back in the day.

Sounds like that Cajun was looking for a reason not to drink.
Sounds like a puss
Not surprising from JBE lovers territory.

Not sure if Same scenario, but this just happened with Miller lite. I heard the whole aluminum shortage story but it ended up them going to a new slender 10oz can like the the Ultra.

They're also small men so 10 ounces is easier for them.

No one. In my entire life.
Has ever accused me of being a small man.

Do 10 ounce cans fit better in your purse?
Any real self respecting drinking man drinks 40 oz. malt liquor.

I got my wife into drinking beer by buying small cans so they wouldn't get hot on her. Eventually she stepped up to 12oz cans. She hasn't made it to 16oz yet. You'll get there someday buddy
