They don't want to work, and that would end up being work. they want to og out beg when they need it, when they got the cash, they drink it off for a few days, then rinse repeat. They don't want amazon or a company telling them when to beg, how long to beg, etc.

They would never make as much money doing that as they do straight up begging.

They do it because it works. They damn sure make more than minimum wage

I would not expect to make much more than minimum wage standing on street corners holding up ads for business
