I've always been told that all of the other asians have a strong dislike for Japan.
Also, I had one of my filipino friends lose his shite on me for referring to him as asian instead of pacific islander. Love him to death but he is a SJW type.

I worked with a Japanese guy years ago - pretty intelligent guy who at lunch one day stated that it was established fact that every Korean smells bad. Would not back down either

Probably have a lot of Asians who grew up hearing stories from their parents and grandparents about the cruelty of Japanese occupying forces during WW2, so I'd think theres a fair amount of resentment towards Japanese from older Chinese, Koreans, and Filipino people.
