I think most people believe in adaptations over time due to environment, but I haven't seen anyone make a cogent argument for true evolution. i.e. single-celled ooze eventually becoming a human being. Throw in the fact it's never happened anywhere else ever in the entirety of known space.
Think about it this way. If the theory that the universe is billions of years old is accurate, not a single observable creature has survived long enough or become advanced enough to even signal their existence. We're talking about trillions-to-one odds here of modern humans existing by accident.

If so, Salamanders are fricking terrible at it. They've existed for a long, long time.
When species evolve, the original species doesn't disappear (ignoring extinction).

crocodile to weak table bird doesn’t seem like a very plausible “survival of the fittest” scenario

This thread has the potential to evolve into the Darwin theory debates thread on the OT on a random Friday night something like that could be legendary
bu I don't believe in evolution so it will never happen

Let me ask all yall liberal evolution believers somethin
If we evolved from monkeys then why is there still monkeys

There were some massive leaps in that AI video. The chicken was once a small alligator that turned into a small velociraptor...

I am of the opinion that God would have made living creatures in such a way that there is always a scientific explanation for their existence. Otherwise what would be the point of relying on faith?

Did you sleep through science?

Are they just land animals in the middle of evolving into aquatic animals / aquatic animals evolving to land animals?
All plants and animals are currently in the 'middle' of evolving.
Evolution through natural selection is an ongoing process.

Amphibians, like all living things never stop evolving.
That's an interesting thesis. Impossible but still interesting.
So it's your position that the genetics and DNA of life itself is "programmed" to eventually self-alter, increase intelligence, grow different appendages, and "evolve" into "higher" life forms? What might be the "natural" catalyst that suddenly signals or "re-programs" the DNA of lifes to create changes?
Would you be able to cite "scientific" proof for this claim? Or are claims of "evolution" actually just Darwinian wishful thinking to help nullify the Divine and His creation of everything by the mere Word of God?

You seem to have no idea how natural selection works.

You do realize that evolution is an observable phenomenon and not a theory, don't you?

When did these becoming defining characteristics of evolution?

And you won't. EVER. Because it's impossible and been the wet-dream of anti-Christians, Atheists and Luciferians since Darwin first proposed his silliness and the Royal Society back it up.

quote:Not at all. Never slightly implied programming. "My thesis" is that organisms evolve over time through a combination of natural selection, genetic variation, and mutation to adapt to a specific niche. When enough variations occur it is classified as a distinct species.

When Tyler Perry met Tyler Sherridon
that's evolution

Yeah , let's start with a fish...into an amphibian...into an alligator....into a chicken...into a T-Rex!! The good news: Our roasters at Costco will eventually be HUGE T-Rex roasters if we wait long enough!
It's a fairy tale come true for Evolutionists. No matter how ridiculous the AI is. Because, "If 'Science' can imagine it, and THEY say it probably happened that way, it DID happen that way!!"
