Appears Target has cancelled the coupons

I opened one of my coupons and got the message " This program has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The referenced offer is not active at this time."
Anyone else try to use them and get refused at the store?
If so, is this legal? Are there laws whichh would force them to accept the coupons assuming these were not the results of hackers?
What are the consumer protection laws relatvie to this?

Guess I am just not as cool as some of you smarmy folks on this board. I asked a legitimate question regarding consumer laws. If I wanted humor I would watch CNN or MSNBC.
