Last night he blamed it on the release of water from the reservoir, I kid you not.
You are spot on in your assessment. The reason nothing was done or ordered is because there is no money.

The same thing is happening with Jackson Public Schools. JPS actually has a lot of money that it gets from grants, but there is so much corruption that the money disappears into friendly hands. They have lots of equipment (computers, laptops etc.) but they never implement any of it. Partly because that would be work and partly because it keeps them looking the part of poor and kept down so please help us and send money. Repeat cycle.

makes plenty of sense, you just can't get past your own inflated sense of intelligence and need to be a contrarian in every thread. you hate BR. you're here to shite on the city and that was made clear from your first response to me.

He's a left winger, he's already behind in this category.
Leftists cannot understand the concept of individual responsibility. Its always someone elses fault. Usually the other guys.
Fairy tales don't translate well to reality. One day they'll figure this out.

I don't hate BR, because LSU is there. If LSU weren't there, I wouldn't even think of BR. It would be a non-city, like it is to everyone else who didn't grow up there or go to LSU.

A true left winger would love Baton Rouge.

If you give them money, they'll blow it. The reason some places stay poor is the overwhelming corruption at the top.
Should they actually fix things, they lose their power over the people.

Exactly, that’s why I stated in another post it’s time for the state to step in and take it over.

What an awful take. Out of touch with reality much? Jackson burbs are nice. Plus they have a competent state government that doesn’t embarrass the the citizens of the state.
I’d imagine the COL is significantly lower in MS than LA as well. Give me Mississippi.

Could Louisiana do the same to Nola? Only problem is that it could actually get worse lol!
