Apparently Shell platform loose in GOM

I’m hearing things from my O&G friends but only rumors at this point….possibly Mars or Olympus.
Can anyone in the know confirm?

Confirmed. Riser broke. BOP failed and the kraken is clawing its way out of the sea floor at this very moment.

BIL just texted me and told me it’s true. He’s a mechanic sub contractor and works offshore. He’s home in madisonville now and heard it from his boss.

I already did confirm it is not true direct from Shell at 1:34 today. The guy is a subsea project manager so he is in upper management. Not only did he say it wasn't true he said they had power and coms on Mars and Olympus.

As someone said the previous reports are no longer available so they were basically retracted. Typical media nowadays. Got to be first without confirming anything at all with Shell.
