This HuffPost article was written late October of this year.

The author is apparently a student at LSU Law. Further investigation reveals he is pretty liberal, I think almost for the sake of liberalism. From all this, I can gather that he was on a mission to find racism in the halls of LSU Law and would do whatever it took to put out a story that evidenced just that.

Irrespective of any other articles he writes, I think the one he put out on LSU is very exaggerated, pouring with hollow dramatics, and is a keen example of dishonest liberal journalism at its finest.

This article is so ridiculous it's comical. Consider the story he tells about an unnamed white professor berating a group of AA law students. His story lists no names of victims, the professor, or any other evidence giving it credibility.
quote:

Take the following exchange at the LSU Law Center for example: A group of mostly black students was gathered in the Law Center's lobby when an older, white faculty member walked into the building. Passing by the group on the way to the elevator, the faculty member said, "What is this, a craps game?" Flashing a grin, the faculty member disappeared into the elevator.

Bottom line, this guy needs a reality check. I'm not far removed from the law school, and this article is as offensive to all students and alumni as it is amusing.

If true, I wonder that the over/under is on the "racist" faculty member being Bockrath

First prof I thought of.

Only thing racist about LSU law is the composition of its student body, and that's the result of its admission standards.

Well, admission standards are color blind, so I don't see how that could make LSU racist.

Well dammit, we need to change the admission standards then. Appease the black folks and help get their numbers up.

Maybe it starts at the fraternity level at LSU that feeds into the law school?

Or maybe it doesn't start at all.

Not sure what you're getting at. If you mean they're racist because there are more qualified whites that meet the standard based on the exact same tests and criteria, then that's bs.

If you mean LSU goes out of their way to admit the number of blacks they do, then that's also bs.

I think it's a hell of a law school, but it isn't exactly Yale. It's not their fault there are fewer blacks who can meet the standards for admission. I don't remember LSU ever asking me if I was white or black when I applied.

What a whiney little bitch. These people aren't happy unless they are bitching. Everyone wants to be a victim.

Letter to the Reveille from Law Professors

Also, had to be Baier making the craps remark. No doubt in my mind.

My wife says the black students she went to law school with weren't race baiters type...ones that were generally went to southern or some other place.

Far as teachers go top 5 in their class usually get those jobs.
Furthermore that's not really where the money is in this profession, so seeking employment with a higher pay scale may just be more important on black attorneys priority list ...as it is with many white lawyers.

This article is typical mouth garbage of a liberal crybaby who's goal in life is to whine about perceived injustices to blacks.

I heard Southern gets a lot of the white students who don't make it into LSU? ...and there was a black woman that wanted to limit the number of white students going through Southerns law school...she was a state representative I believe. Now that seems racist to me

FTR, it's not racist. But there are plenty of race hucksters that have, and do, assert that admission standards that rely upon grades and the LSAT (or other standardized tests) are inherently racist.

People who say and believe that high admission standards are racist because black people aren't as intelligent as white people and preach the excuse to the black community are the most racist and destructive people in this country. More than the KKK, more than any group.

Southern law couldn't keep its accreditation if it didn't let so many white students in.
