Anyway to check Spectrum progress from Ida damage?

I’ve called them 3 times and they said a line was broken in Livingston and maybe said there was an app to check the progress but it isn’t the Specteum app. Anyone know what they would be talking about? Has power for 8 days and no internet yet. Just trying to figure out when it will be back. I’m in Hammond btw.

North covington here. My neighbors and I received robo calls friday “our service interruption had been restored”. Nope
Neighbors called and warm body spectrum rep said the robo calls were a system error and that there is no expectation for when internet should be restored
Eta: internet just came back online here

Hotty,
In Covington we’ve been told “no eta for restoration of service” but we will receive a credit.
Thank God we switched to DirectTV last year & only kept Spectrum for internet.

Yeah I have YouTube tv and luckily I have enough att cell service to watch it on my phone but man it sucks to not have wifi. Is it really that much of a process to fix what is broken or is Spectrum just not equipped to handle it?

Same here and no one I spoke with could give me any timeframe at all. Then on Saturday around 2 it returned. It was 11 days after power was restored....

Friday when I called the rep told me that the Hammond server hub had a messed up line and I had 2 nodes left to be fixed. He said the sever would be fixed Saturday. It was and I got a call saying it was fixed but I didn’t have internet. When I called Saturday afternoon they said a line was cut in Livingston and that was the issue. I just don’t like the runaround.

Ponchatoula here and a spectrum rep told me it could have been yesterday all the way out to a couple weeks from now, meaning they have no idea

There was a fiber cut Saturday about 10am maybe… had some Hammond area customers lose total internet and were told it would be a few days to restore.
We got them running on temp stuff. Dunno if it’s fixed yet or not.

Yeah I’m starting to get pissed. I called and the rep said “crew are still working on what they need to work on”. Like no fricking shite Sherlock. Give me an actually update of specifics. The fact there is no information online about any of this is an issue. At least Entergy had a map. Spectrum just doesn’t say shite.
