Anything more humiliating than digging thru the trash for your keys at a restaurant?

We have all been there, hands full of trays and empty drink cups, diaper bags, wrangling kids, accidentally toss your keys in the trash.
Walk of shame back inside to dig thru the trash to find the keys.

What kind of dumbass doesn't keep his keys in his pocket until he needs them? Your car isn't inside the restaurant.

my keys stay in my truck and I just use the keypad to lock the doors

I have a proximity key. I just have to walk up to the car with the keys in my pocket and the doors unlock when I grab the handle. My car won't lock with the keys inside and I also can't lock the keys in the trunk. It just pops the trunk back open or unlocks the doors if you try to lock the keys inside somehow.
Come to think of it, my keys never leave my pocket unless I'm unlocking my front door. I should get an August or something like that and eliminate all keys from my life.
