Didn't know that. I was reading...
30k in debt is not the way to live.

So the bank just wants someone to take it cause they know they don't have legal right to it?
Give me the address and it will be gone by monday, I don't give a shite about a title

Paid for.
I can hear the equity screaming out of it from the garage every time I walk past it.

Sort of. It's a little more complicated but basically

frick that. I already had to let a tow company come get a nice RV from a house the other day and they claimed title to it after 30 days of storage.
I am going to do whatever I can to be able to do the same.

Agree. I am just more comfortable with money in the bank. I see people put a huge amount down, when in reality, every $1K is saving them $3 a month. I prefer the (false) security of seeing money in the bank. I bought my house when I was 23 and have been on my own financially since I was 18. I like knowing that if something comes up, I can handle it.

Some of yall are insane.
I'm 28 and I'm pretty sure I make less money than most people that post here. I've never made a ton of money and probably never will. However, I have absolutely zero debt, have money in the bank, and have my retirement accounts through work and an IRA I started outside of that.
I'm not able to go out and buy a boat, a Mercedes, and a beach house...but in 30 years I'm not going to have to worry about much financially while moto is going to be $50,000 in debt trying to scrape his way through life on food stamps. I'd take my situation anyday.

I have $30K of credit card debt, but my net worth is about $150K. I make $130K/year tax free. My expendable income is about 5K/month. And right now I'm posting from Washington D.C. - came for a karate tournament but made an 8 day vacation out of it. Add another grand or two to my debt for this month since I overspent and stayed in a suite at the Willard.

How fricking dumb are you?
YOu already have $30K in debt, and now you added to it......to stay in a suite?
Motherfrick you are the living definition of living outside your means.
ETA: If you make $130K a year, why not start paying off your fricking debt instead of adding to it?

If I may ask, did you get severely injured on the job? That's a lot of tax free income...
Why do you have ANY debt?? I am completely confused.

No and and maybe I was being a little modest with my description of options but I laugh at people with mid grade decor packages that say "loaded!"
