Since the cold subsided our water has been slightly redish or brownish in color. It's not dark but it's enough to notice. We didn't have any frozen pipes so I don't think it has anything to do with that.

Is anyone else having this issue?

The pipes are copper. Is that even possible?

This happened to us one time the day after 16 degree weather.

Only when using hot water. Lasted for a few seconds and then went away.

Yes, it happens to my wife when she uses the hot water to fill the tub. At first I thought it was just shark week but that wasn't it.

Might help if you mention what part you live in baw. Nobody has reported anything on social media around 42 that I'm aware of.

I have a well so I'm no help. My water is fine.

Depends on where you live maybe. I know the parts of ascension getting their water from Donaldsonville area had a boil advisory.

Maybe something to do with that.

This reminds of the time my parent's house water back when my dad insisted we use the old water well that my grandpa dug 40 years ago. Our hot water smelt like nasty farts. My mom made him go with city water after about 6 months of smelling farty water.

My wife's parents have a well that supplies their whole home. That shite fricking stinks and grosses us out every time we're there. When it snowed in December we lost power so we had to go to their house to stay warm. Showered there and almost threw up in the shower.

They say they can't smell it. I call bullshite every time.
