Anyone upgraded your golf cart speed?

Got new batteries today and I'm interested in making it go faster now. 14.5 mph is too slow.
Have a Precident i2 excel and after researching it a bit I can upgrade the controller or get my electric motor rebuilt. Anyone have success with either of these or something else? Buy speed setting 4 from club car?

Oh I don't play golf...I mean I damn sure don't bring my own golf cart to a course. This is just a cruiser for our little town. I bought it after it was retired from a golf course and added a back seat.

22 would be awesome. Seems like there would be some easy to to delete the limiter, but I guess Club Car is covering their arse.

Na, that's goofy looking. EVERYONE in town has that setup and it's trying way too damn hard for me.

I had my precident upgraded with a new motor and controller when I bought my cart about 3 years ago. Cost me about $500. Goes about 23 with just me, 19-20 with 4-6 people on it & a good breeze. No clue about hacks though.
