I’ve read where Reddit is now hugely international posters, like over half (and/or bots) which explains a lot.

I had two accounts for about 12 years. One main and one troll. Someone ratted out the troll one and both got temporarily banned for 30 days. Made a new account a few days later and I ended up being permanently banned for trying to bypass the initial ban.

Every time I make a new account, it gets banned instantly. I had to use an old smartphone that never had reddit on it with a VPN just to get on. Any slip up would result in getting banned again. Not sure who I pissed off there. I don't get on any longer. Too much work

I got banned from the Covid subreddit, sometime in 2022, because I said it looked like Covid was getting less severe and the flu was causing more hospitalizations. My ban was for spreading misinformation.

I posted the above while citing my experience working as a doc in the ER throughout the pandemic.

Some obese neckbeard basement dweller wanted to perpetuate the doom and gloom. So much for listening to our “healthcare heroes.”

Reddit has become such a nauseating, leftist shithole, and I say this as someone who leans more left than right.
