Anyone remember Verna's Lounge?

I just made the dubious financial decision of buying a jukebox off of Facebook marketplace, and while I was digging around inside I found the original delivery slip. Verna's Lounge, 1982. I've been doing some searching, and I can't find a mention of the place anywhere. I picked up the box in Westwego, so I'm thinking it was on the west bank, but really it could have been anywhere in the New Orleans area. Just want to put a juke joint to the jukebox. Thanks!

75 bucks, which isn't bad, but it's got some issues. All in I'm thinking it's gonna be closer to 300/400. Worth it though. I've got a ton of 45s and like you said, there's just something about a jukebox and a dark room

Yep, it was on the westbank. I remember the sign, but I'm struggling to remember the exact location since that was 40 years ago. I think in Old Gretna.
