Service at the sale is non-existent, but the price was good for what I wanted.

The car I drove to pick up (from BR) was said to have body damage when I arrived even though I called and was told everything was good before I left. They would never show me the actual car and never got the story straight on what happened. They refused to give me my deposit back at first. After 6 hours We finally came to an agreement that they would sell me a more expensive car for the price of the car I that put the deposit on.

All in all it worked out but I was there for about 8 hours. It was a miserable process but I got a good deal.

I'd be very hesitant to do business with them again. They are not motivated by a single sale as they sell an enormous amount of inventory every month.

i found a "specific" vehicle with the very selective options i was looking for and after negotiating online and looking at many pictures, i went to houston to look it over and buy a vehicle.

paid uber driver $100 plus full tank before we left and when we got there to drive me there from new orleans and wait until i was sure i was buying it before leaving. the return trip would have cost me the same.

they still lied about it because it had TPMS issues (bad sensor somewhere), and i made them install a new battery since the old one looked 10 years old and i made them find me some floor mats for it, all these things they swore were checked out and in perfect condition lol.

its not that far to drive (something like 5-6 hours) and its way way too easy to get screwed over if your not there in person to look it over, check for maint issues or hidden problems. if i hadnt bought it that $200 would have been money well spent to prevent getting screwed.

NEVER BUY ANYTHING BASED ON PICTURES SIGHT UNSEEN IN PERSON

yes. I found the car I wanted in brand new condition for thousands less than I saw anywhere else.

downside is that they operate like an airport. so dont expect for the salesman to follow you around like a puppy dog. If you enjoy haggling with salesman this isnt the place. I would ask for $1000 off but best you will probably get is $500 or even less. If you dont ask you wont get anything so it is better to ask.

you basically make an appointment to make a test drive. you cant just go walk around the lot. So pick a few cars and make an appointment to drive them. I would drive at least 2 or 3 even if you know which one you want to buy just so that you can try and jew them down, if possible. if they know you only looked at one car and want it the chances of them going down on price are slim.

I just saw that you asked about online. I just walked in pretty much. I would have reservations about buying anything sight unseen... unless I am in that area alot. I just so happened to be in houston and went take a look.

The vehicle I’m thinking about getting is in Dallas location. I thought it was in Houston when I inquired. I would drive to Houston to check out.
Practically a brand new vehicle (6k Miles) for several thousands less than anywhere else I’ve looked.
Sales guy over phone said they would deliver and I would have 7 days return policy.
Hard for me to pony up 50k for a vehicle without putting my butt in the seat but it’s such a good deal.
Not sure what to do, reviews online are either really great or putrid but overall 4.5 / 5 stars.

Just know that customer service is poor, but the car will likely be as they represent it.

Told me the Tahoe we were interested would be ready for us to look at when we got there, drove over from San Antonio and then they say sorry it will be in the shop for a week . Ask me if I want to come back, like I'd be interested in one that needed a week in the shop to sale, we got on the web and bought one from a dealer up in Spring and drove it home. They might be cheap but screw them

Bought and sold to them. They beat any trade in price I got by a mile. As many have said customer service is garbage, but monetarily it is hard to beat.

Been a few years but I found a car online, called and negotiated price. Drove there, checked out car, bought it at agreed price. Trailered car home and have been happy with purchase.

Yep, bought a truck from them last year. Everything was as presented online. Drove over and back the same day. No complaints. Think they did a good job.

I bought a Shelby GT500 from them a few years ago. Found it through Ebay. Called em up, made em an offer, they countered, I countered back. I gave them a deposit via my debit card, drove down and got it The one in Katy, Tx is the one I dealt with. Service was great, car was better than advertised when I got there. Id definately do biz with them again.

If these are used cars, I would check to be sure they weren’t flooded. Not sure how you can tell in some cases and I wouldn’t depend on their honesty in disclosure.

I doubt a business the size of Texas direct would chance their reputation to try to peddle a few flooded cars.
