A coworker and I were discussing this last week. He is really interested in it. I've read great information regarding it. Like stated on page one, there is a variety of schedules.

At least rocket and a few others actually know what the they are talking about in this topic.m

Make sure your co-worker understand that his body will fight against intermittent fasting at first. He's likely to get headaches and not feel great the first few tries. If he sticks with it, that will go away. Honestly, I need to start doing it again. Not to lose weight. I just felt better and ate better while I was doing it.

Good luck to anyone that tries it. Again, I'd recommend reading the Eat Stop Eat as another resource to anyone considering it.

Anyone practice intermittent fasting? quote: Been doing it for 6-8 months. Weight/body composition has not varied. Glad it's working out for you, you should probably try to gain some weight though at that height/weight

Why? I don't have body a body image complex? Or do you think gaining weight would make me more healthy?

I am well aware of how the body works. I am an athletic trainer and a certified personal trainer. I understand that's the way it had to be done in the past. All I was saying was the body functions more properly with a steady stream of nutrients, especially if you are an avid exerciser. I never said eat 8 meals a day. You can't argue that eating one massive meal a day is more functionally sound than spreading nutrients out throughout the day.

Oh. So you are not an expert in evolutionary biology, biochemistry, clinical nutrition, etc.?
