Id consult a reputable specialist before consulting the OT.

I wouldn't take it until I see ample results... way to short of time and not a big enough sample size, IMO.

Never taken the flu vaccine and have only had one pretty bad case of it in my adult life. I'm 57 and in good health, (no meds, etc.) with what seems to be a good immune system. So I guess my question is why should I? If the majority of gen pop is taking it wouldn't my chances of contraction likely be lessened anyway?

Can't a vaccine be potentially harmful to someone with a weak immune system?

Agree on the waiting in back of the line. Just saying if a bunch of elderly folks handle the vaccine fine, not sure what the worry is

What if a 10% of those elderly (or anyone with comorbidities) people have severe side effects 1-2 years later that lead to their death or a horrible condition until they die? What about 20%? I would say that would not be worth it.

No, but I also never get a flu shot. My immune system works just fine for me.

I would be considered high risk, and currently on the fence

The vast majority of people who analyze scientific data for a living and who understand vaccine development would highly recommend the vaccine.

This wasn't "rushed" in the way that ignoramuses on here are claiming. They still went through Phase 3 trials with a very low/mild side effect profile.

The Russian vaccine was rushed.

I have no fear of the vaccine and I hope my 85 year old mother gets it the first day it is available.

Now I have had COVID. Will the vaccine do me any good?

I don't understand why so many people want tested.

Even if you develop symptoms why test?? So long as the symptoms are not debilitating the doctors are not going to treat you.

I see these pictures of these people in long lines of cars waiting to get tested and I wonder why are they doing that???
