You're going to kill the old boy. Leave him alone.

It's intense.
This happened to me with ketamine, as well. K-holed myself for an entire night. Oof...it was brutal, but I came out the other side better for it.

I'll be honest this thread has my attention. You don't hear this discussed in make circles often.

See if you can silence your thoughts and just feel your body and relax all our muscles, and then relax them even more. You should eventually feel these energy locations among many many smaller ones. They will be spinning in a ball shape and feel rather damn good. Practice makes perfect.

Our brains are over stimulated with all this technology. It is good to shut the brain down for a bit.

Blasphemy. Eckart Tolle. It will change your life. Walking in nature is some of the best meditation you can take in.

This actually made me somewhat uncomfortable to read.

Not even just that. If you're a working professional or a parent or have any kind of significant responsibility just the expectations of you are such a burden that we rarely take time to analyze.

I agree 100%
It's great to unwind your brain and reboot.

Any tips for beginners?
It's probably different for everyone but it took me a while to get the hang of it. Always had an innate ability to zone out, relax and blank my mind but using light/sound entrainment focused and accelerated it. Very addictive.

you're obviously not the real Steve Brule.
I get that deep introspective meditation about once every couple months. It's difficult, very intense, and draining and not always fun during it, but it's worth it. It's always worth it.

That's what I'm talking about. I'm a licensed professional with my own business. I really need to figure out how to do exactly that. Like I said, I've heard really good shite about it and it's intensity. I need a way to tap into creative problem solving without having to turn to unhealthy ways to do it.

I downloaded the app headspace. I'm on day 7 of the 10 day program they start you with. It's great. I used to make fun of people who tried this stuff but it really does relax you

It's amazing what your brain is actually capable of.
Try it out. Sit still and quiet. Begin thinking about your problem and let your brain work. Don't try to control or stop the flow of ideas. Just let them go.
It takes practice. But it's awesome.

Yes. Quite often I am called upon to settle disputes between friends or co-workers.
