I love these guys calling. I push 1 to talk to a live operator. Always a foreigner. I tell them I'm so excited you called I'd love to have new siding on my house and start rambling on about what bad shape my house is in etc etc. it's so funny listening to them trying to change the subject.
I talked to one of these guys and told him I'd been recently diagnosed with cancer and I was so glad to have someone to talk to. That was a fun call!

Also been having this problem more frequently the past few weeks. Also had many today.

Usually I ignore based off area code but I do sometimes get calls for work from random area code/numbers I dont know. Usually just hope they leave a voicemail or email.

If it isn't a number I recognize I don't answer the call.

If the caller is legit (happens about 5% of the time) they'll leave a voicemail.

Idk, but I have at least 250+ blocked numbers now on my iPhone. Doesn't matter, they just keep on calling from new numbers.

I had one today where the menu eventually gave an option to press 2 to be removed from list. Hope it works.

That explains it then. These days business owners are always on the go and we get calls from clients and prospects all day long, from all over the world, there's no way to save every number we get and there's no way of knowing if the unknown number isn't a new prospect.

If you have an iPhone download the app Truecaller. It helps reduce those type calls by blocking the better known spam calling numbers. It's free at the Apple Store.

The OGM will be manipulated so pressing 2 is a quantity. Expect two warehouse forklifts to arrive early next week.

They dial every possible number.

I've been lucky the past two months but I've gotten scam calls in the past. I always pretend to be interested and waste their time, mainly for amusement and partly for revenge. I make up fake names like Ben Dover, keep a depleted Visa gift card in my wallet, and tell them to call my girlfriend (or boyfriend if I really want to mess with them). The number is always some kind of rejection line or annoying celebrity recording.

The warranty on my car has apparently expired, which I find confusing since I have no vehicles registered in my name.

Young lady called me today.

"Would like to hear about our extended warranties?"

I already have one thank you

"Well your extended warranty only covers transmissions and engines and stuff. Our warranty covers electronics, brakes, and fluids."

Have a good day lady.

It is sad. It's like my cell is now the old land line I had 10 years ago. My text alert chimes, I go check it. It rings, and I ignore it.

This is the correct answer. If no message I add it to my do not answer contact. I think also if you answer they know they have a valid number.

8448141800 this is the number blowing up my phone..shows up on caller id as hp support. Searched online and I've read that apparently hp was hacked and all their customers info was taken..they start out as this is hp support, you bought service plan with us, do you remember? I say umm, nope don't remember..they say yes you bought service plan with us are you near your computer? I say no.. they respond with why not...I'm like wtf kind of customer support is this..they say you have virus that could damage computer when is good time to call you back. I say never.. have had their number blocked for a couple weeks now but it shows up as a missed call. Today they call from a restricted number, so i answer it just for Shiites and giggles..they say yes, we are calling to refund you money for Windows computer you bought, do you remember? I'm say umm nope i don't remember. They say yes you bought Windows computer, yes...I say no. They say, do you have Windows computer? I say no and they just hung up..then 5 minutes later they call from the blocked number..these people ignorant man..gonna try to think of better replies for next time without saying yes..

By the way these are all your foreign call center accents...wonder how well they speak Spanish..
