Dont you spend like 1000 dollars going and staying in Mexico to get a 50 dollar crown. Seems a bit of trouble to save 50 dollars.

That's because $50 is the cost, the $1100 is profit for the dentist to buy new cars/furniture, etc in America.

Riiight cause you have no clue what it costs the dentist to keep his practice open.

You can have it cheap or good, but you can't have both.

My landscaper, who is Mexican, just got back from Mexico for dental work. He had a lot done and saved a lot of money. Said the waiting room was full of Americans.

Overhead in dental offices runs around 65-70%. Crowns are one of the higher overhead procedures due to lab fees as well.

What do they send to the lab? I know the crowns are made offsite and have to match in size, shape, and color. Is that the 'lab' you are talking about? I've been to one of those before, but. Kinda cool.

Yes - the dental lab that makes the crowns. Some offices mill crowns in house, but that is even more expensive because that machinery costs a fortune.

I got in a motorcycle accident and lost five teeth up front.

Aspen was the best priced and have had no issues. Eventually I may replace them with implants if they start to wear out but six years in and they still are strong and match my other teeth perfectly.

Toothpaste is a couple bucks a tube. I'd just brush your teeth and not get cavaties. Way cheaper

If it were only that simple.

Lack of flossing is most patient's Achilles heel. Floss twice daily and you can eliminate probably 80% of flossing cavities between the teeth which is where most of the problems start.
