Anyone know what’s on fire in downtown Covington?

There are fire trucks and police everywhere in downtown Covington and the power is out all through downtown. I could see something on fire as I drove through.
Anyone know what’s going on?

Marsolan’s Feed and Seed is on fire.
Very old wooden structure. Family owned.
Damned good people too.

I get that you hate Covington, but a good family losing their business doesn’t seem like the right time to flex. Just my .02.

Where else can you ask what’s on fire in Covington and one minute later get the answer? God bless you people.

Agreed. They have been there for at least 30 years. That’s terrible. Just heard that it was totally engulfed. Not surprising with all of the fertilizer etc.

Yep. Just about everything in there would be highly flammable and/or explosive. There are probably some nasty chemicals burning off.
That's unfortunate. Not just for the owners and their employees, but for all the people who have done business with them for many years.

Hearing that it’s Marsolan’s, the trailhead and city hall.

Damn, I have been going in there since before I was old enough to walk. That is a shame, I just went in there the other day with my boy.
They use to supply my grandfather's operation.

Awful. That’ll be a total loss of a cool old building. Damn.

Is this the big building across from the trailhead/park or the building attached to it?
