It certainly changes the barricaded perp's options. Come out or die. I am not a huge supporter of current police tactics, but they had negotiated with this dude for hours, only to have him open fire on them after. He wasn't coming out alive one way or another- the question was how many bodies were going out with him.

Situations like this? I'm completely cool with it. I just wish the cops would have slapped a GoPro on it so I could see that motherfricker's face when he realized what was about to happen.

i mean, i figured he was going to end up dead.
and it seems more efficient than a fire fight.
but i was admittedly surprised that the dude was killed by bomb robot. i didnt really know that was an option. i thought they did various stun grenade/gas options to disable people.

This Dallas incident has taught us that a "good guy with a gun" sometimes isn't even enough to stop evil in its tracks. Sometimes you need a good robot with a bomb
